re: News: AlgaeTec showcase facility visit fr... Yes, absolutely, including large impacts from above etc. obviously we've had tremendously greater rates of change in climate, and good to see you accepting that the current climate is not unusual or unnatural. You can also clearly see that if we've had any impact over the last 200 years or so (which I agree is almost certain) it is negligible (though I expect you'd argue that point).

No, I can't give you the details of every single climatic peak and fall over the last few hundred million years, sorry, but comparable and more extreme events than current are not unusual in the greater scheme of things and far far far worse events than absolute worst case scenario of human impact (unless we go all out nuking the entire planet or something) have happened several times. It's not the doomsday that the propaganda machines would have you believe.

Anyway, again, it's all irrelevant (to the economics of AEB - I might have earlier made it seem I was saying what we are doing to the planet is irrelevant, but while I don't think climate change is the monster we're lead to believe I do agree we're abusing the planet pretty severely). Algae oil won't make a pinch of difference even if the burning of fossil fuels is what's going to kill the planet through climate change, and even if it was going to, investing in AEB wouldn't seem like a great idea from anything other than a philanthropic stance because it doesn't especially help the economics.

You say the price seems to have stabilised! You are joking, right? We'd just seen a new multi year low a few days before you said that, and another on the day you said it! As of this moment (less than 24 hours later) the share price has dropped 12% more, with a chart even a primary school student can see indicates further drops are likely. If that's your idea of stable I'd hate to see your idea of a falling price.

As you say, in situations like this, regardless of the industry, before production/action/proof of economics/proof of concept, the share price tends to drop due to lack of attention and interest. That's why I was in no hurry to buy in while checking the company out, but I now see no bright future either.

DYOR, don't take any of this as advice, I'm just someone rambling on about stuff you shouldn't take as having substance, etc.
