It is a wonderful addition to the town at Christmas time.
Shareholders might be interested in a couple of conversations I had today. My mother had lunch at the RSM to celebrate one of her friends 80th birthday. Talk turned to the bomb threat made against MEL and all the girls were quite upset by the actions of LTG. One thing I found interesting was one lady who always shops at the Farmer's Market on thursdays was harassed by LTG members who insisted that she take the leaflets even when she said she wasn't interested. Eventually she told them to get back to Lismore and get a decent job. Also told them she had visited Canada several years ago and gas was everywhere and the Canadians were enjoying a wonderful standard of living. "Go you good thing."
Had a rego check done on the car.Everyone at that business keen for gas to go ahead.
Last stop haircuts where I was unsure how people would respond re CSG. Brought up the topic and again everyone was happy for gas to go ahead mainly because LTG are seen as not being "really normal" to quote the hairdresser. One customer mentioned a few old ladies she lives near who cannot meet their power bills on the pension and are suffering badly in the heat.They also use candles instead of lights which is really dangerous.Cheap energy important? You bet!!
I wasn't going to post for a while as things were getting rather heated but I thought people may be interested in the views of the general Casino population.
