Yes , I read your post clearly .

Maybe if you'd said that there is a major gas pipeline that runs through Gippsland ( Longford to Melbourne with a connection to Sydney ) and it is reasonably close to ICN's leases , that might have been more accurate. Of course that still doesn't take into account that it's privately owned or whether it has any spare capacity.

Not to mention , we have yet to find anything to put into it !

As far as my qualifications go , yes , I'm not a geologist , nor a petroleum/reservoir engineer etc . But of course , neither are you.

What I do bring to the forum though is years of experience of living in the area and being in and around the industry during that time. That also includes previously holding Lakes Oil shares who have done a lot of drilling in this area . I am quite familiar with the results of LKO and others who have looking for oil and gas in this area . So , while not an expert , I know a truckload more about this area than you ever will and as I have friends in the local oil industry , I have access to technical explanation as well . This has been really handy when I have been doing research on various companies , including ICN.

How many mates of yours actually work in the Gippsland oil industry Gassed ? I bet not as many as mine .

Getting back to ICN's skills and ability to find productive leases , I only need to refer to their past history . How good is their strike rate by the way ? What about 626 that you were pumping on this forum not too long ago ?

So , in summation , the play is in the Cooper basin , there is actually things happening there assisted by a very able partner .

Anything else is so far over the horizon it's not even worth thinking about . Or to put it another way , if ICN didn't have their Cooper leases , would I be holding their shares because of the Gippsland potential ?

I think you know the answer to that.
