Not able to confirm anything re Exergen.

I have no access to their financials as they don't publish them.

We can surmise that Tata buying a small percentage of Exergen equates to a value of approx $200 mill.

Whether that is still the case or not is anyone's guess.

Some would say that without a revenue stream and bottom line profit, a business is worth nothing. Others say the IP, etc. is worth something and thus values the business, etc.

I like to think that I am a logical reasoner...so it is hard for me to fathom how the Govt would ask for offtake agreements, previous experience in similar sized projects, financial backers, etc. and yet only give ALDP funds to beggared (my words) Companies!

Furthermore, the ALDP funds are paid in arrears - so just how is a Company that shows they are strapped for cash going to be able to fund the demo project with cash (they don't have) to then later get some ALDP funds from the Govt (which they need in the first instance to build the demo's)!

So you see, the hypothesis of some don't stand up to logical reasoning...but it's as good excuse as any as to why Monash haven't coughed up the readies.

The ALDP funds for ESI are a moot point right now anyway, most offscreeners are waiting on this funding issue being sorted and hopefully before Xmas.

Unfortunately, it has now been 2 weeks since the AGM, and in that time ESI secretary has resigned, ALDP shortlisting has come and gone and still no update re Monash.

If these T&C's were straightforward, I'm sure it would have been sorted by now. Obviously they are not and, for mine, due to the length of time taken now will be of a "material nature" to ESI and the SP.

    Cheers K
