I've answered my question JF. The bicarbonates would never make it past the gut. Keeping it really simple. What happens when you put bicarb in vinegar. You get salt water and CO2 gas.

My point is just to be critical and if it is stupid to take stock advice from HC tipsters, then it is really stupid to take medical advice, as some here seem to have found opportunity in the maple story. Just do your own open-minded research and get things validated. If there are unanswered questions get them answered by someone credible. That means not here.
