It would be a good idea to settle a little and discuss the topic. Derogating a poster's name and issuing thinly veiled suggestions of violence do not advance scientific discussion one nanometre.
I don't generally support carbon capture and sequestration because costs are prohibitive and the process is more about cleaning the image of dirty coal rather than improving the environment. However the Gorgon operation is worth comment. Carbon dioxide is to be removed from the fuel stream rather than from combustion flue gases. The outcome is the same though. Carbon dioxide will be sequestrated in exhausted petroleum reservoirs as I recall and this is a good thing.
For decades, injecting CO2 into oil wells has been used to enhance production but the gas/supercritical fluid is often recycled from the oil stream rather than from combustion flue gases. In the case of Gorgon, there will be nett removal of CO2.
