Snuff.
I explained on the phone what it was, and the lady on the phone said they will pick it up . The thing that made me send them on their way was the fact they were lazy, could not be bothered and when i said i want them to go he said i shoud show THEM more respect! and to think that the top of the table comes off, and the rest of it is just a half inch square frame.
And I am not sure what the arrangement was but they struck me as people working for themselves and I bet had they pick it up it would have been at the local trash and treasure market That weekend and the charity is used as a contact between them and people like me and they get peanuts.
I understand what you are saying about dumping, i see it at my local op.shop.but with the condition the table and chairs were, I thought I was helping someone.
If the neighbour Down the street didn't want it, I could have put it on EBay and got 3-4 hundred dollars for it!
Anyway neighbour pick it up thanked me for it , and had a beer with him.
All's good!!!
