Re CSLs share buy back. I would rather decide what to do with my money than have any paternalistic board of directors do it for me. In general I just don't trust their benevolence - but can't say about CSL in particular.
I would certainly rather they give any excess capital back as dividends - I will decide whether to buy more CSL shares or not.
Who benifits most from share buy backs - in general it is directors and senior management holding options - not that I have checked in CSLs case.
