what's going on?, page-17

Some good questions ... I have been watching RIM and their Sorpresa discovery for some time. Whenever a large greenfields discovery is made I get excited.

The problem is as I see it, is that they have been fluffing around doing shallow auger drilling with a Black&Decker from Bunnings for two years, and the market has got bored with them!

I reckon they have spent TOO long try to work this thing out. They longer they spend, the more surface stuff they find, yet they have got no closer to finding the mother!

We used to have a tiny toy poodle that loved chasing the next door neighbor's big Tom cat out of our yard ... one day he chased the cat to the back fence, and suddenly the cat turned around and just waited. The poodle stopped in shock, looked back at us as if to say, "OK I have got him, what do I do now?"

That is what I feel about RIM ... they seem unsure of their next move. They need a quality JV to work this thing out IMO.
