Like all posters, I was amazed to see OZL fall by nearly 10% today on no news.

If, as some posters are saying, there is a rumour of missing the production guidance and the sp has fallen, then if the rumour dies or is denied, the sp should bounce back. Some people would have got the stock at a bargain price - well done!!! Should OZL deny the rumour? Always a PR nightmare to answer that one. If you put out a press release denying the rumour, then you acknowledge that manipulation has occurred and the ASX may need to unwind all the trades for today. That can then potentially cause financial hardship to people. Normal behaviour is to ignore it.

The second link from du is interesting. I can find no reference to the resource upgrade on the ASX or the OZL website or miningweekly.com. OZL normally releases their resource update about this time of the year, but I have not been able to find anything about it.

So, is the price drop today the fault of the board or management or is it just "one of those things"? With no other information, I would lean to the latter. We just may need to "Suck it up princess!!", even if it is unpleasant and disappointing.
