this ann has me intrigued on a number of levels:

"will transform bioplastic starch blended products ......into a "multi-purpose and global green friendly product that can be used across many OTHER applications and products"

"..first application ...we are looking to extend is into biomedical products and regenerative medicine...........aim is.........to develop with UoS a cost-effecctive biomimetic product that has the POTENTIAL to be used to treat many bone diseases such as osteoporosis that affects over 3.8 million Australians"

"Company has commenced discussions with Petrochemical comp that are looking at ways of turning their CO2 emissions into a positive business scenario......"

Again - this will not happen over night and looking at how carefully all the recent releases are worded and in the context of dealing with UoSydney under a government grant ARC would think they be even more careful at how to word the release.

So - maybe just me but this is a bit of a "bomb" as far as I'm concerned - unless of course I totally over-read the impact this potentially (stress potentially) could have.

May contact Frank and see if ARC are picking up the whole tab for this research and estimated timeframes (if anyone knows at this stage?) and how any final product will be dealt with (on a commercial basis - but most likely confidential anyways)
