I am just interested in two figures The amount of the deficit and the amount of revenue loss.
If he is a truthful treasurer then the revenue drop will be more than the deficit as that implies he was going to deliver a surplus. However if the revenue drop is less than the deficit well that's a whole new ball game as that implies he was never going to be in surplus despite his guarantee otherwise
I'm not sure if any projections have been made yet on the two figures.
