Plenty of holes there Muzzarati, but one at least should be corrected:
CO2 is "absorbed by Oceans to provide nutrients."
Yeah, right. Additional CO2 dissolved in seawater reduces the carbonate in solution needed for uptake by marine creatures to form their exoskeletons, and decreases the potential for carbonate saturation, as needed by growing reefs.
What would you prefer in the oceans, a healthy food chain and habitats supporting fisheries, or a non-calcified algal soup? So what then, do those who at least acknowledge that humans are increasing atmospheric CO2, regardless of the debate about temperature effects, think about the anthropogenic acidification of the oceans? Is it something we should manage for maximum seafood production or just ignore?
