Ive been betting on a fiscal cliff deal and money printing which should be positive for assets.
Failure to make a deal is surely deflationary.
Instead Im reading on newswires that a deal is close - but gold is crashing??
What am I missing??!! I understand when interest rates go up its time to get out of gold but if that were going to happen then why all the talk of money printing.
Plus oil is rising but not gold. They usually move together.
