Must admit when I first read it I thought the 10million 18c options were going to Luis, but really only 5 million of them were issued to him. These options granted free were part of his consultant's remuneration/incentive deal, as stated in that announcement.

Then there are also some 500,000 FUN options for him at 20c end-April 2013. Ya never know... as they say. Gotta be in it to win it.

The Ordinary shares 768,750, though I feel were likely purchased by Mr. Azevedo. A VERY good sign indeed. I see nowhere that says definitively they were granted free as some form of advance payment for services as yet not rendered. (worth around $76,000 at 10c) Nor are they listed as a BUY/SELL for a Director. Even Col Jones only got Options when he came on board.

The initial interest statement just says he owns them, not that they were granted as freebies.

So they could have been already owned by him, as of the date of his appointment. He PAID for them. Also it is an odd number which suggests a private buy(s) rather than a Christmas present from AVB.

I could be wrong on that of course.....

Maybe the balance of 5million Sept 18c options form part of the remuneration deal with the two TOP GUNS that are supposedly lurking in the wings, waiting to get over their Christmas hangovers before starting to build a real Mine for AVB.

Say 2,500,000 options 18c Sept 2013 each for the lads. (or ladies?)

Would be pleasant to see AVB well in excess of 18c by Sept 2013. Must be VERY on the cards as Luis accepted them, and presumably did not roll around on the floor laughing saying.... "haha Sept what year guys??"
