What about chainsaws? At the time of the John Howard buy-back, I was in a country tavern for a Sunday beer. It was packed, owing to a mine operating nearby. In a discussion on the new laws, someone pointed out that we could have massacred everyone in the pub with 2 chainsaws....only one door in, and a narrow, fully packed bar. So you could make a case for banning chainsaws? If there were no guns at all, there would still be massacres....and I'd rather be shot than chopped up..or burnt to death.
