The London traders (not necessarily residents) have tried playing this game before putting HDR in a downtick at the end of day after a down no news day to shake the tree on Monday in Aus. They didn't have the real news last time I don't believe. To put it nicely it meant they had lot's of cheap stop loss stock to place on Tuesday or Wed in London and were hedged in Australia so beware as I think this fish has a tighter pukker hole than before.
Unless there is factual info I won't let London rule our opening without news. There has been a few good logical guessers but not sure if anyone is really drinking a cuppa with the ladies.
Will be interesting as not often London get a lead. Will they use it or will a Aussie warrant holder abuse it hoping to bluff some small fry before news on Monday - Tuesday- Wednesday.
Not sure of drill speed as there was obviously a prior unexplained problem so they may be slower?? Any news on whether it was a stuck rod, weather related disconnect damage etc etc??? They don't leave a string unless they have to.
