haha head, I wish it was only $60 per quarter. Our bill has risen by about $80 per quarter compared to the same time last year - that's around $250 pa if it keeps up like that. There was a very small increase in our kWh however the large part of is unaccounted for. The only significant thing that has changed is carbon tax. Go figure.
And if it was only a few dollars a year, why should we be donating anything to something that is unlikely to do anything at all for the environment.
Carbon tax is just another money grab, imo, that was unwanted by the majority at the time of legislation. Most undemocratic as per the definition of democracy.
