Moon, my niece, who is not much younger than I by one of those quirks of family history, married a mining engineer [I have never held it against her] and I remember him laughing once that the miner who lived next door had to start his motor-mower for him. He then crowed that he was a dumb miner but had to start an engineer's mower.
We all think we know a little about something but only the arrogant think they know a lot about everything.
It's a lull in our house with the Xmas spirit flowing so I'll take this opportunity wish everyone the very best for the season of hope and rebirth.
