Hi GJ,
Thanks for that.
So be it. All grist for the mill.
Personally, I don't use forks to trade. But my sample was just a way of showing that the momentum was fading - it was one example amongst three. So, I think that should be kept in perspective.
My personal philosophy about entry and exit to/from the markets is based on "rough" views, long experience, and use of a variety of techniques. In the end it's always a judgement call. No right or wrongs.
Any highly mechanical view of the market may work sometimes. Maybe most times. Just as a Newtonian view of the world is still useful, although superseded by relativistic views ushered in with Einstein and quantum physics.
Finally, the things that matter most are risk management, attitude, emotional control, and discipline. All those are related. And they're in you, not in some view of the market.
Redbacka.
