The ipo will now (my opinion) be going ahead given the uk approval for fracking. They couldnt launch in the uk with such a substantial uncertainty. I expect the shorters to be clearing out, or at least easing their exposure to upside risk as the likelihood of positive movements in dte increase.
Dtes partner in china has just been taken out. Nsw approvals forty drilling have been given. There is areal chance of sentiment change, however dte have a serious strategy challenge now. They need reserves growth to drive price above and beyond what a change in sentiment will do for them (~50-100%).
