This is THEFT. As are all exhorbitant exec salaries that bear no relationship to performance.
In these days of rorts, fiddles, unauthorised expenditure etc - it's all THEFT.
SHAREHOLDERS FUNDS ARE BEING STOLEN.
It's as simple as that.
And when the going gets tough, they attempt to cover their tracks with Change (or re-organisation). It's a centuries old ploy by ruling classes to draw the stakeholders attention away from the main game (thieving management) so they can continue their thieving while stakeholders focus on the change.
Governments know all this is going on but they too are working the system - or are in bed with thieves of their own .
The answer will untimately be revolution - sad but true - and the baby will be thrown out with the bathwater.
