Your statement is not true, majority of Malaysians have no issue with the plant, infact they see it as part of their 2020 process for the countries future, we are just caught up in politics (bad timing for lyc).
This time next year you will be greatful to hold lyc & being in now removes the risk of missing out when it does turn for the good.
As for building it in Australia there is a long list of reasons such as staff costs & location relative to who they are selling to, definately nothing to do with safety IMO
