Where Labor voters will slavishly follow their Dear Leader to the gates of Hell, Liberal voters will often disagree with some of the things their party may do.

I am not in favour of this move, 8 year old kids need a parent looking after them if they are sick, and need someone to take them to school and pick them up again.

There are far more easier targets that the government could be concentrating on rather than hitting single parents of 8 yr old children.

They should not be changing this until the child is 13 years of age when they are then in high school, and are old enough to safely walk to and from school, and to remain in a house on their own for short periods of time.
