Not too glum nor too giddy either, a bit of balance is called for. No point in either sulking or being naive.

However it is worth remembering that in the absence of evidence of change past behavior is the best guide to future behavior. Thats why resumes, references and criminal records are used.

This board has poured a lot of loot down the drain, I would like to think it was a lesson that won't be repeated but I am struggling for evidence of a change.
