Sundance didn't need to prove it either? You may not have held for long enough to remember, but SDL has been talking about Conventions since 2008 and permits for quite some time as well. Funny how they only received these things after Hanlong came onto the scene with the CDB. What a coincidence! Do you really think that Cameroon and ROC would be naive enough to issue Mining Permits and Conventions without knowing how SDL was going to fund development? SDL was relying on being able to mine both deposits (Mbalam & Nabeba), so do you think the ROC would have issued the Mining Permit even if Cameroon held back the Convention because SDL couldn't prove funding? Hmmm... Doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me, but if it does to you then that's great.
