As I said DD, some western governments have made mistakes, but are you telling me that Adolf Hitler and the SS were imagined???? Do you think as an alliance we should do nothing about the threat of terrorism??? Was 9/11 a mirage of the imagination and maybe according to you the Jews were behind it!!! I suppose Bin Laden was no threat either??? The argument from anti west sentimentalists is full of voids and holes, if it was not for the Western Alliance and their actions over the years life could be a hell of a lot different, but then again, you could always go and live in Russia, Pakistan or maybe Iran, anti western sentiment runs very strong in those countries and you would have lots of comrades to support your anti western arguments. See if you can post any anti government posts or exercise your right for free speech like you can in Western societies. It is all very well to rubbish some of the errors re Vietnam etc, but decisions were made on perceived threats at the time, in what was considered to be defending the citizens and our democracy.
