Directors can not continually hold you hand through this process.
It is up to you to educate yourself as must as possible when it comes to your investments. Be it FA or TA.

The question of how much gas is down there is just unanswerable at this stage.
What we do know is that to date A-2 has surpassed expectations.

What you can answer is what are the other Perth basin field producers.
What are the results of historical drilling in the area.
What are the source rocks for these oil and gas systems. (Very interesting)

I will give you a link to read. Start from page 16 onwards.
It gives complete details on most of the wells drilled in the Perth basin. I encourage you to read everything from this point. (Please note it is some years old.)

    http://www.dmp.wa.gov.au/documents/REPORT_43_CDWEB(4).pdf

You will also find full details on not only A-1 but Arramall (3km north west of A-1) and Mountain bridge (2km north west of A-1) pages 34 - 39.

You will see just how hit and miss oil and gas exploration can be. Both Arramall (some hydrocarbons) and Mountain bridge. (dry well) where unsuccessful.

Arrowsmith-1 was drilled into both Caryagina and IRCM to a total depth of 3446
A-1 was very successful achieving a flow rate of 4mmcf/d. (be it short lived as the flow rates decreased.)

It has been interpreted that the well hit nature fractures in the rock as seen in the Woodada gas fields. That the decrease in the flow rate was due to the well encountering limited natural fractures in these rock.
We now have created our own.
    (Drilled 1965 and abandoned 1981)

It is also worth noting that they conclude that the setting for Hydrocarbons are similar to the Woodada gas fields with out the advantage of a trap.

Going on with this rubbish about how many barrels and what flow rate will Kockatea produce, really does show a complete lack of understanding of the Perth basin.

Kockatea mostly acts as trap of gas in this basin and has not produced any commercial gas.
The source rocks for most of the gas in these producing gas fields have migrated up from Caryngina and IRCM to these traps.

Kockatea does how ever produce oil as seen in Mandara, Dongara and Yardaino fields.

Some fluorescence were seen 50m into Kockatea in A-1 but that was all. To have oil from this section has been very unexpected and pleasing.

They needed to take time to get as much data as possible before moving on as this is significant to the possible development of the field. (Not your short term share price)

Interestingly oil shows were also seen in both IRCM and HCSS in A-1.

To go on like Kockatea was the major objective really shows very little knowledge of ones investment. (imo)

Caryngina and IRCM is the main game.

HCSS was unexpected. Only weak gas shows were recorded in A-1 and it now looks it may be a producer in it's own right.

Please take the time to read the link above. Understand what you have invested in.
Once you have we can have an intelligent and informed discussion about NWE. Something that has sorely been missing to date.
