Lelelala, I am reluctant to push any particular style on a budding chartist. I was hoping you would have seen something in particular that grabbed your attention.
Some chartists will spend years finding their way, only to realize that they took the wrong turn at albakirky... I don't want to be your wrong turn...
I am guessing that because you are already in finance then the mathematical end of charting has drawn your attention, so playing around with indicator formulas and parameters might be up your alley. But maybe the raw data and psychological reasons why a market moves could play a chord with you also.
For now, I would suggest that you follow a few of the chartists on hot copper until you find a style that might interest you or that at least grabs your attention. Then ask that particular chartist where you should begin your research... More than likely they will be more than helpful.
And just in case you are wondering... No, I am not one of the chartists you should follow. I am a beginner myself.
