Reading your stories, I think quite by accident, I did it the right way round.

Spent almost 30 years (18 - 48) living all round the world, Camridge, London, Amsterdam, Berlin, Frankfurt, Hong Kong, Sydney and now Kiev for the last 5 years.

After 30 years of partying and I am bored with clubs and pubs and coincidentally I got married a month ago for the first time, although I must admit we have a 2 1/2 year old daughter together so you could argue we were sort of married years ago.

Anyway the point is I am very happy to be making a home with my familly. I know for sure if I had tried this in the 80s, 90s or 00s then it would have ended in failure as I would have resented the commitment necessary on my part to make it all work where as now it is a pleasure, even in a backward country where I do not speak the language.
