"Okay i will continue to eat meat as per my bodys biological design."
Biologically we are a primate that got forced out of the jungle and onto the savanna a few million years ago when the world became drier and the jungles in Africa shrank.
That's when we switched from eating mainly fruit to eating mainly seeds. The upright stance, platform feet and pincer hands facilitated picking, peeling and eating seeds.
Eating meat came much later - probably during the last ice age. The question remains - how well adapted is our digestive system for meat?
Personally, I believe our primate stomach became more acidic to facilitate digesting meat. This is no problem for a young healthy system, but as we age an over acidic gut is a problem - a big problem.
Since I began drinking antacids regularly - I have become a stronger healthier person. I am convinced the key is health and longevity is in reverting back to the primate gut (before we began eating meat).
This simply involved raising the gut PH a touch with a refreshing glass of antacid twice a day. - Worked for me!
Oh yes, and I eat meat - but not much! I think there's too many hormones in meat and dairy that promote cell division (cancer).
