You only need the Chinese as a customer. Most, if not all these Chinese companies are State Owned Entities - their only objective is to secure resources for the state as cheap as possible. They are not interested in building shareholder wealth - in fact they will manipulate the SP down to increase the chance of them taking over the targeted entity.

My opinion only of course, based on recent experience with stock that I own (more than one) with Chinese involvement - you simply cannot trust them.
