crunch the numbers on the deals and you will find that mitsubishi paid $880 million per TCF and petrochina $1.3 billion or about $1 billion each.
ie petrochina 100/8.33 X 1.63 = 19 (total value of Browse)/14TCF (gas today figure) = $1.3 billion per tcf.
