Thanks saltocan, I agree for those speculating in a good probabilities with medium risk high reward scenario. Having said that, it's also the reason I did not sell after the recent Heron and Gurame debacles,as I've previously stated.
TS is a tangible asset (hence my self rating of medium as apposed to high risk for my own investment consideration), although it is also a time framed one in the future. ENI have previously stated a FID on ES around 2013/2014. That's not to say there may not be movement earlier or from such entities as Concophilips or WPL. Due time will tell on that, with a common sense probability attachment IMO.
My leaning on purchasing decisions was towards those seeking self funded safe havens, which I doubt anyone here can say that about MEO at present. However as a speculative bet, IMO MEO is attractive. More an extra cash investment at present for newbies or for those already invested, it is a weighty consideration when determining sell/hold/accumulation strategy. Everyone has to decide what is best for their own position.
Until then any further venture successes (drills/farm outs etc) may simply fall into the category of cream for ones investment.
I'm no expert analyst, but I also think that the previous brokers assessment of value was and is on the low side, considering the costs of FLNG or main land infrastructure costing blowouts if recent fiscal estimations are any guide. Not that fair value and the Market often have anything to do with each other these days.
Cheers.
