Poor old AS, I am not defending him but just for a second imagine if all his relentless enthusiasm (i will stop short of calling it ignorance, niavity, spin doctoring) was not part of the story and then consider will we be where we are today wihtout it?
Most holders have bought into his statements at one time or another, a load if instutional investors are on board...and we have been able to keep the doors open for ~10 years with nothing but some contract manufacturing and his spin/PR.
So I loathe reading much of the annoucements these days as I expected to be backing a profitable business by now...but since thats not the case and some of my money is paying the bills I have to be honest with myself when critiquing an investment...I am doubtful that UNS woulds have been able to raise the dollars it has for so long without what many are complaining about, spin/PR etc; just about all of which is from AS.
I am an engineer so believe marketing is white man's magic and often see little value in it if you have a good enough product... but even I appreciate what happens when the money runs out and until they have enough contracts signed to be cashflow positive in ~2015 sometime we are going to be reading overly oprtimistic spin from the UNS machine as I doubt they can afford to let up
