First of all Chrysalis, you are illogically comparing deaths of many types with Homicide. Tobacco and alcohol related deaths are indeed a problem that need to be addressed, but that is a separate debate.
Secondly, that chart of yours is thrown around the internet - Question to you Chrysalis - do you know who produced it? Well, you quoted Poorrichard's Blog. Who is Poor Richard? I looked him up - here is his profile:

Thirdly, this debate is about guns and homicide (i.e. intentional murder). Therefore, only the last two rows are directly applicable to this debate - but the data is completely incorrect, especially the non-firearm homicides.
