    Hi Biggles and all,

No mate you are not mistaken I did enjoy your humour I thought you may have picked up I was taking the after product you produce whilst drinking beer!

As for me cracking up under pressure at present you could not be further from the truth I’m day 24 into a 26 day relaxation experience that everyone should try now and again. Can’t say too much or you will be branding me a champagne swilling dilettante or some such!

You appear to feel strongly that just because Gold has risen for eleven years this now has to be a categorical reason for it to now fall.

Eleven years is nothing when you compare that to the longest Bull Run in modern financial history, that for USA treasury debt of around 32 years. Did you notice the early January yield rise in the longer dated 10 -30 notes, that could make them more difficult to unload on to the next bunny. Even a pig with lipstick remains a pig!

Now the Wally’s in Washington are taking about making a Robert Mugabe style $1 Trillion dollar platinum coin! Some bloke called: Jerrold Nadler pushing that one I wonder the chances of him being related to that Kitco funny man (Jon Nadler) you often quote!

I think once you see people like Tim Geithner slipping down the mooring rope and off along the quay side and into the night the writing is well and truly on the wall.

Like many ideas some are slow to get off the ground IMHO I feel at least a few people must be considering how much longer the confidence trick of Full Faith and Credit in the USA government can go on. And that my friend is all it takes just a loss of confidence in the paper money printed out of fresh air and gold is off to the races. Of course zero interest and a myriad of other gold positives can only help.

To end on a positive and to be sure there is no misunderstanding I really do appreciate your humour and your yearend Gold price of $1,325.00 was one of your better laughs , I must say that’s as funny as Wayne Swan’s famous pork pie promise to bring Australia a surplus budget. Please keep it up mate you’re so funny and priceless and best of all you don’t even know it!

Just out of interest what kind of car do you drive? If twelve bales of silage are considered more portable than a bag of sovereigns you must have some kind of vehicle or was that another tongue in cheek Oscar Fingal O’Flahertie Wills Wilde style pearl of wisdom?

Cheers you comical, misguided but lovable scoundrel and very best regards: Andy
