Marchello and Pattos cynics et al I'm not a big fan of seeing these guys in juniors but laying all this on them makes no sense.

Pattos Buy 3mil Sell 10 mil net -7mil. Of course they are well net long with the placement.

In the context of the stocks volumes it is impossible to see how your "explanation" works.

Well over 60% of total volume came from Comsec and Etrade. IF there were shenanigans then HFTraders thru these houses might be your boogyman.
Personally I dont see it so I dont assume it and that is important for managing ones personal psychological relationship with equities. If you assume an impossible and all powerful foe then you will likely trade your way into a situation where "they" appear.
The damage done from this far outweighs the risk of being "ignorant" to the idea....even it were true!
