I don't think that Greek Government bonds are a "solid" investment either. I just thought it was funny that Greek bonds should out perform gold by so much after so many Gold Forum contributors offered Greek government default as a reason for buying gold.

I have a taste for ironic humour.

With respect to the "epistemology of the gold forum", I think you go very close to demonstrating my point.
