Spot on tpg, totally flies in the face of Lynas's foundation marketing program Rare Earths Direct (RED).
Does anyone seriously think Lynas would surrender control or margin to the Malaysian Govt?
Witness Lynas's co-marketing agreement with Sojitz where they even retain some control of the placement, even after they have sold the REO.
Lynas want to place the REO to major, long term REO users who will grow the business not the spot market, or Najib's favourites.
