Maybe it would pay to remember that this guy is American. The US market is now not all that far off the 2007 highs. In contrast to that our market did a Wile E Coyote....it fell off the cliff and basically went splatt!! Except for the initial bounce in 2009 that lasted a few months and a bit of a golden period in the second half of 2010 our market has been extremely ordinary...although it has been showing some signs of life in recent months......Remember 2002 to 2007?? Making money was pretty dang easy back then.... It has been possible since then but hardly the stuff 20k to 2 mill is made of.
Hopefully we have all used these last few lean years to learn some valuable lessons. Next time round when our market is good for a prolonged period we can all make a squillion and get ourselves interviewed on CNN as trading gurus and can share our trading secrets with the world.
