And check your facts Chrysalis. At no time has Armenia been part of Turkey. The Kingdom of Armenia was formed in 600BC.
Yes it was a part of the Ottoman empire, but it's own seperate state. Then during the time you list, they were part of the Soviet Union which gained the territory during WW1. In 1918 it became the Democratic Republic of Armenia, and it was in 1920 that the Turks invaded. Funnily enough it was called the Turkish Armenian war.
