I know some people seem to have had a problem with the fact the IG voted against the 2 new directors, and i for one personally called allen mitchell and gave him my full support for him to vote whichever way he felt best for SHs, and i was in favour of voting against the 2 new directors becasue it sends a message that we are tired of the games being played.
This move of the 2 franks resigning followed by the apointment of 2 new incoming directors, was simply to appease SHs and retain control.
Retaining control of a companys allready decimated SP, in just 12 short months.
I know people here beat themselves up a little through not doing enough DD and thats true to a degree, but we are not all lawyers and accountants, and so its easy to miss some details. I reinvested last january after 2 previous dissapointing attempts the famous FP saga being one of them. I read most of the anns about our new permian assets and everything sounded great come to think about it,it was just like FP sounded, like too good to be true, but in my naievity the penny still never dropped.
Im all for a complete change of the board because im sick of the games and manipulation.
Either the board needs to get real to earn our trust back, or it needs to change. Our present board maybe smart and savvy but smart and savvy for who. When you have lost trust something needs to change, otherwise the circus continues, I know the show must go on but im tired of the circus show.
