I didn't actually state that MOLYCORP's credibility was 100% related to them mothballing expansion. There is obviously a good reason for recently changing there CEO :)

MOLYCORP state: 'the decision to complete Phase 2 construction and start-up will not be made until':
1) market demand,
2) product pricing,
3) capital availability, and
4) financial returns justify additional increases in production beyond Phase 1.

Market Demand is ONE of the FOUR issues.

CHINA has periodically put restrictions on REE due to political issues both with JAPAN and the USA. The point that I'm making is that currently there is NO large reliable REE supply outside of CHINA (free of political influence) and that's where Lynas has the advantage.
