re: espadon west compartment 5 dusters in a row is not good, by any perspective. Woodside also have this "decades to develop" mentality, brought about by the very long time to develop markets for LPG on the North-West Shelf.
However this is not the seventies and Mauritania is not politically stable Australia. There is an urgent need to discover and develop. I'm afraid Woodside's inexperience outside the NW Shelf is beginning to show. Despite their being "king of the kids" in Australian terms, they are naive and they need a boot up their collective backsides.
For the first time in 5 years I'm thinking of selling.
