Why are we in a downtrend when Lynas is in production and the first bit of carbonate is going to set the world on fire?
Because we don't know if anybody wants to buy it, we don't know what it cost us, we don't know if global demand will support 22,000t of the stuff and we don't even know if we can make the right quality, if they want it.
The entire RE market is still in a LT downtrend and Lynas is not going to break out individually until it can prove itself contrary to the trend, and a bit of carbonate or a 1000 Ann's from NC will not change a thing without hard data - earnings - and most probably an upturn in global demand.
