you misunderstand. i have no allegience to the excerpts in the video

as for the maker of the video, they are anti-war, like me. no way I or they would ever deny what people are capable of during war

personally, i would never deny there was or could have been gas chambers

even today, most military nations have biological weapons of war, which they sell to other nations, such as to the former Iraq, when they allegedly gassed the Kurds

the point is:

the Holocaust is a "myth", in that it is used to perpetuate cultural/political myths about certain cultural groups, such as the myth that they (eg. Americans) are pure & noble

for example, you probably use the myth to support a sense of moral superiority about yourself & the social group you identify with

the human tragedy of the Holocaut deserves no special sympathy whatsoever

the human tragedy of the Holocaut warrants a sympathy equal to all other human tragedies, such as the genocide of American Indians & particularly the displacement of the innocent & defenseless Palestian people

this is what is meant by a "myth"

it is actually disrespectful to Holocaust victims to use the Holocaust as justification to perform similar injustice & evil towards the Palestine people

if we actually respected the Holocaust, we would shun violence & shun the persecution of other people

but it seems many folks use the Holocaust to perpetuate a war agenda

this is what is meant by a "cultural myth"
