I put a post before on rxl about massive sulphide deposits, it's called mining like its 1864 on ahead of the heard by Richard Mills it's worth a read. It goes into where nickel is being used now, also about capex costs esculating and how nickel is basically unstainable to mine at lower prices. Due to lower grades and likes into the problems with laterie projects. What interested me most that was that junior nickel plays aren't that common anymore.
