Depends where you're coming from. I think you are being a little hard on acturtle. As a trader I agree with him,in principle,for in the end traders are looking for percentage gains. Which stocks are chosen over others will reflect one's trading goal.

I also take Eric's point about OXR and copper but that is another ball game at this stage.

As a trader you need to be very flexible. I find I'm continuously changing my mind on stocks and entry and exit points as new info on each stock comes into focus.
