    Jessie,

That is my point, there have been so many 'genocides' and yet the only one we hear constantly referred to by the mainstream media is the Jews in the Nazi concentration camps of WW2.

For starters you could look at my post above:

"I doubt anyone is denying that there was a Jewish genocide during the Second World War, however what does standout is the lack of remembrance of all the other genocides and the emphasis through the media of only the Jewish one. What about all the non-Jews who were also sent to the same camps whose memory fades into the past. For example, in Poland 3 million Jews were sent to the camps, along with 3 million non-Jewish Poles. Hitler had an equal dislike to the Slavs."

In relation to the other groups who were also sent to the camps for extermination I will quote from my Post #: 631333 from the thread entitled "A Brief History of Gun Confiscation" 10/01/13.

"In relation to the 13 million figure from Germany, it says Jews and others. The first killed were the devolopmentally disabled, then came those considered to be mentally ill, then the elderly. The Jews and Gypsies came later, along with those who had spoken out, or acted, against the regime.

Hitler had a particular dislike of Slavs and many of these were also sent to the death camps. For example, in Poland 3 million Jews are said to have been killed, but at the same time so were 3 million Christians.
